This popular Neurocare event will be bigger and better than ever this year!

Like last year, there will be both a 5k and a 10k option on offer, to suit runners of differing abilities. The 10k race will start first at 9am and will consist of two laps of the circuit, whilst the 5k will kick-off at 10.30am and    will be one lap. The course is nice and flat – suitable for participants in wheelchairs or pushing pushchairs.  Many participants will be walking the 5k and it is most definitely a family-friendly event.

We encourage you to bring all the family along to cheer you on! There will be fun-runs for the kids, as well as  food and drink available to purchase on site. You could also bring a picnic with you and join us for lunch after  the races are over.

Wilson Field are once again kindly sponsoring the whole cost of the event which means 100% of your entry fee  comes directly to fund the work of Neurocare! The five previous Head Start races have raised a lot of money;  since 2010, Head Start has raised over £65,000 for Neurocare!
