Who Am I And What I Do

I’m Adam Taylor – an expert at personal training, running coaching and nutritional advice. I work with people who lack the confidence and clear action plan they need to get fit quickly.

I graduated from the Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Sports Science and Management and have also gained a Certificate in Personal Training through Focus Training and hold a United Kingdom Athletics coach licence.

Since 2007 I’ve competitively competed in over 200 races from road, cross country, trail to fell and mountain races. I have ran for various running clubs / athletics clubs and I represented Leicestershire & Rutland (2011 & 2013) at the Intercounties fell race.

I currently live in Dore in Sheffield and I represent Dark Peak Fell Runners.

I know running isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I love to run. Here is a list of my personal best race times:

  • 5K – 16:59
  • 5m – 28:31
  • 6m – 34:17
  • 10K – 34:56
  • ½ Marathon – 1:20:15

Why I Coach Everyday People to Become Better Versions Of Themselves?

Exercise, eating healthy and running is what makes me who I am today. I was very active at school and college participating in all sports and representing my school and college 1st teams in both athletics and rugby. After damaging my knee in my late teens whilst playing rugby I stopped sport for a number of years. After graduating from University I weighed 14 stone an effect of binge drinking heavily, smoking and a poor diet which left me quite frankly feeling depressed with no real focus or sense of direction in life! I wasn’t happy with what I saw in the mirror every morning.

I had to change! and so I did in a big way. Whilst working at a boring desk job that I truly hated I trained whilst working to become a personal trainer. I’d always enjoyed coaching friends who wanted to become fit and who had a particular interest in running.

This was one of those pinnacle moments in life where you think to yourself why oh why hadn’t I done this all those years ago…

The big WHY I get up in the morning is because I love to help people like yourself increase their confidence through exercise, motivational support, step by step guidance, offer advice on what to eat and drink to get the best results and how were going to achieve your goal together:-)

About me

I'm Adam Taylor - an expert in personal training, running coaching, weight loss and nutritional advice.

I'm based in Sheffield and am passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals - everything from weight loss and general fitness to marathon and fell running.

My open running group is for beginners and intermediate runners - those who are just getting started with running or those who would like to improve.

My personal training services work with people on an individual basis and provide a fully tailored fitness plan working towards a goal.
